Northern Animal Rescue Humane Society was founded January 2009.
We are a humane society registered as a non-profit, charitable organization that is committed to the development and improvement of animal welfare in our community.
We are an animal welfare organization. We rescue animals that have been injured, abused, neglected or surrendered. We help these animals get healthy, happy, and eventually into their forever homes.
We are volunteer-based. We rely on the kindness of others to foster animals, help with events, fundraise and run our organization.
We provide education to community members on proper animal care and pet ownership.
We work with local governments to help improve bylaws and animal control in our Tri-Community.
We offer support to pet owners by providing much-needed resources and services through our mobile vet clinic partnership with the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
